Bioalpha Executive Director, Joe Ang said the visit served as an important platform to introduce Malaysia's capabilities in halal manufacturing and natural health products to the international community.
According to her, halal certification today not only symbolizes syariah compliance, but has also become a benchmark for quality, safety, and trustworthiness aspects that are accepted worldwide.
"Many international students participating in this visit were already familiar with local herbs such as Tongkat Ali and Kacip Fatimah. This demonstrates the increasing global interest in Malaysia's natural health treasures," she said in a statement on Wednesday.
