Kuala Lumpur, Wednesday, 10 June 2026 — Bioalpha Holdings Berhad ("Bioalpha") yesterday hosted a visit by students from France who are participating in an industrial training program in Malaysia through Art Market Malaysia to the company's halal-certified manufacturing facilities. This visit provided the students with an opportunity to closely understand the country's halal industry development and the growing nutraceutical manufacturing sector.
The visit was part of an experiential learning initiative aimed at encouraging knowledge exchange and cross-cultural understanding. Throughout the visit, students were exposed to Bioalpha's manufacturing processes, quality control standards, research and development (R&D) efforts, as well as Malaysia's position as an internationally recognized halal hub.
Bioalpha's Executive Director, Joe Ang, said the visit served as a meaningful platform to introduce Malaysia's capabilities in halal manufacturing and natural health products to the international community.
"We are honored to host the visit of students from France and share a deeper understanding of Malaysia's halal industry. Halal certification today not only signifies syariah compliance, but also reflects aspects of quality, safety, and trust that are recognized worldwide. We are also very excited to discover that many of these international students are already familiar with renowned local herbs such as Tongkat Ali and Kacip Fatimah, which reflects the growing global interest in Malaysia's natural health treasures. Through programs like this, we hope to strengthen international understanding while showcasing Malaysia's capabilities on the global stage."
The students were also given exposure to the potential of local botanical materials and the role of innovation in driving the development of the health and wellness industry. Bioalpha believes that initiatives such as this play an important role in strengthening knowledge sharing, encouraging international cooperation, and raising global awareness of Malaysia's expertise in halal manufacturing and herbal science.
